Meditation and Buddhism: thoughts of the day

Do I need to be a Buddhist to meditate?

Meditation is technique rather than a faith and can be practice by everyone.

If you feel uncomfortable with religion or ideas around spirituality try approaching meditation as a beautiful wander through a landscape you enjoy. This could be a softly lit woodland, a dramatic coastal walk or a stroll through wild flower meadows. This landscape reconnects you to the natural world a place to restore, renew and find peace.

Meditation is a journey and each day will take you to to different places, experience different nuances and aspects of yourself. Just as you guide your own walk so meditation can teach you to guide your own mind, learning to respond not react, find pleasure and spaciousness.

You really can learn to change your mind.
